Four season vacation home cottage located on the eastern shores of Lake Kashagawigamog, Sandhaven Cottage is just 3 kilometers from the village of Haliburton, Ontario Canada. This four bedroom cottage has three bathrooms and will sleep eight guests comfortably, with a maximum of ten capacity.

Nestled amongst the trees and close to the lakeshore this large cottage is great for summer, fall and winter vacations or take a week anytime just to getaway and enjoy yourself, family and friends. This luxury cottage rental is suitable for a large family, two small families or four couples.

Home/Cottage with Country Kitchen - Propane Fireplace

Good Old Fashion Country Kitchen - This large vacation home has 1,900 sq. ft. of interior space for your enjoyment along with a propane fireplace which is set in the middle of all the main rooms, the old fashion way. Open concept for kitchen, dining and living room area. This living room overlooks Kashagawigamog Lake with a deck running the full length of the cottage. There's more, a large family room with wood burning fireplace and a walkout to the main deck. The upper floor has four bedrooms with walkouts to your own balcony and the main floor has a walkout to the deck from the kitchen and family room. The hot tub is at the far end of the deck.

Easy access with parking for four to five vehicles in a circular driveway. Only 40 feet to cottage entrance which makes it easy for carrying in the groceries and other goods.

Weekend cottage rentals available October through to June. Some exceptions may be considered.

Cottage Recreational Room - Family Time

A great view of Kashagawigamog Lake from the large family room with pine floors and a wood burning fireplace with access to the outside deck. Glass table with four chairs for playing cards or other games. Couches and chairs circle the TV with satellite, VCR and DVD players. Plenty of VCR movies for the kids.

Watch a good movie with the family in the comfort of a wood burning stove and a relaxing atmosphere. Luxury living at its best.

Available for use - Board games, vacuum, telephone, TV/VCR/DVD, satellite dish, washer/dryer, firewood.

Kitchen - Country Style Home

Great layout for cottage living with an open concept country kitchen, dining and living room with access to the family room. Plenty of room to entertain a group of ten people. High ceiling with a beam and wood construction gives it a rustic setting, very comfortable and cozy setting to relax in topped off with a stone propane fireplace.

Full kitchen with a bar top counter or center island with four high chairs for enjoying your morning coffee while watching the activities on the lake. The kitchen has every thing you need for cooking, pots, pans and dishes, all you need to bring is food. Close to village of Haliburton for shopping.

Kitchen is equipped with dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, four burner stove with oven, toaster, fridge and large freezer combination. Water is drinkable supplied by a drilled well.

The Cottage Bedrooms and Bathrooms

This private rental and luxury cottage has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.

The bedroom picture to the left (master bedroom) has a great view of the lake with a queen bed, carpet flooring and large closet. It also has access through sliding door to a balcony, great place to relax first thing in the morning to take in some fresh country air and if your lucky someone will deliver breakfast to you. The master bedroom has its own three piece washroom where there is also a washer and dryer.

All bedrooms have their own thermostats for the electric baseboard heating

The whole cottage is heated by electric baseboard heater along with a wood burning stove and propane fireplace.

The other three bedrooms have a walkout to their own private balcony facing the lake, double beds, dressers and closets.

Bathrooms - Two 3 piece, One 2 piece

The main bathroom is on the same floor as all the bedrooms equipped with a shower/tub, toilet and sinks. There is one more washroom (2 pc) on the main floor attached to a huge mud room behind the kitchen area.

Outside Yard and Waterfront

The Waterfront - Kashagawigamog Lake - South west exposure - Haliburton

The deck is huge and faces the lake running the full length of the cottage and then some. At one end is the BBQ and the other end has the hot tub and in the middle there is a set of stairs taking you to the lake.

Kashagawigamog Lake - Bring your fishing rods, hop into the row boat and catch breakfast

Outdoor fire pit for those chilly nights and don't forget to bring marshmallows the kids will love you.
