Celebrate your New Years vacation away from home in a country setting in our waterfront cottage or one of our studio cabins on Halls Lake in the Haliburton Highlands Ontario Canada.
This New Year marks the end of year 2010 and the beginning of the next year 2011.
Bring in the New Year down by the waterfront with fireworks.
The Loralea is comprised of seven cabins and cottage rentals most with fireplaces located on Halls lake north of Minden Ontario on highways #35.
On site activities include tobogganing our hill, ice skating if weather permits, ice fishing, access to snowmobile trails, dogsledding at Winterdance, cross country and downhill skiing are nearby.
Our most popular waterfront cottage is 20 feet from the lake which is great for a family of four or two couples seeking a New Years vacation in 2010.

For great cross-country skiing visit the Leslie Frost Nordic Ski Centre on Ontario's Haliburton Highlands - Muskoka border. Seven stacked loops of trails provide access to a winter wonderland that features rugged terrain, mixed hardwood forests, majestic stands of white pine and hemlock, cliff top lookouts and frozen waterfalls.
It is located 7 minutes from the resort on highway 35, ten minutes south of the picturesque hamlet of Dorset and across the road from the Frost Centre Institute.

2010 New Years Cottage Vacation - Long Weekend Getaways
- Minimum stay of 3 days in cottages for your 2010 New Years getaways
- Option of pay for three days and extend your stay by one day

The Loralea is your waterfront cottage rental resort for families and couples
- Extra person room charge is $20 per day or $100 weekly over room rate capacity up to max capacity
- Day visitors will be charged an admission of $10 per day, please register at front office
- Pets friendly - Pets are welcomed with advanced notice, rules do apply - short leashes at all times - clean up after pets - not to be left alone in cottage or cabin - not allowed on furniture - not to be annoying to other guest - not allowed on beach area at any time - these rules must be adhered to for the comfort & safety of all
- All cottages and cabins have the following included in the rates
- All rooms are housekeeping, linen and towels are provided, bring bath sheets
- BBQ's - propane supplied
- Enjoy our toboggan hill
- TV, VCR's are available, small movie collection
- Deck overlooking the lake for all resort guests to sit and relax
- Indoor fireplaces in #1, #2, #3 and #6, firewood provided
- Cottage #5 has propane fireplace and cottage #7 has electric fireplace
- Snowmobile trailer parking - Rent Sleds for Snowmobile trips
- Snowmobiling - Haliburton Trails depends on weather and usually is not in good shape till mid January - Haliburton Forest Reserve trails may be up and running for Christmas and New Years 2010 - 2011
