Cottage is only 20 feet from the lake with its own sitting deck to take in the sunrise and boat dock on the waters edge.

 

Enjoy a campfire at nights under the stars with a great view of the lake.

Firewood is supplied, please no bonfires you will kill the trees surrounding firepit.

Local by-law, camp fires from 7 PM to 7 AM - Total fire ban has only happen twice in eleven years.

Outdoor campfires only in spring, summer and fall seasons

Lakefront Cottage Living Room Area

Living room equipped with lounge chairs, coffee tables, queen sofa bed, TV & VCR. Electric fireplace with built in TV and VCR.

Reception is not the best because of the location, you can see 3 local channels. We do have a movie selection for quests to use or you can bring your own VCR tapes.

Great set up for two couples seeking a weekend getaway or a family of four enjoying their summer vacation.

Two separate bedrooms with bed linen included, a four piece bathroom with towels supplied, please bring your own beach towels.

Washroom entrance is to the left of the fireplace, 4 pc, Note toilet is on a holding tank, the number of flushes must be kept to a minimum, one shower a day per person has not been a problem.

 

All rooms have electric baseboard heating with their own thermostats.

All of our cottages and cabins are clean and we do ask that they be left the same.

What to bring to the resort

• Food and drinks for meals - Salt, pepper and spices
• Bottled water your option - Water is tested monthly and is OK to drink
• Water supply is from lake and is treated with a chlorinating process to meet the Ontario requirements of save drinking water - Note new water system be installed in November of 2012.
• Bring Coffee, cream and sugar - coffee maker and filters are supplied
• Personal toiletries and clothing to suit the season
• Beach towels and bath sheets - Toweling is supplied for inside for all cottage rentals
• Garbage bags and recycling bins are supplied - Recycle is Mandatory by county law

• There is one parking spot right beside lake cottage - which can be a challenge on some winter days unless you have a four wheel drive - We do trailer your supplies if need be - It's a minute walk to this cottage from our main parking lot
• Plenty of parking in main resort parking lots
• There is plenty of parking areas for boat, atv and snowmobile trailers

• There are five restaurants all within a 10 minute drive
• Fish and Chip shop right next door to us - Open May 24 to Thanksgiving weekend - Weekends only except July and August is open 6 days a week
• Liquor and beer store - 7 minute drive
• IGA in Minden

  • Haliburton, Dorset and Minden all within 20 minutes
  • Huntsville 40 minutes
  • Bracebridge 45 minutes
