Ontario Snowmobiling Vacations - Sled Parking & Storage
The
Loralea has plenty of sled or trailer parking available, two large parking
areas for trailers.
There is room for two 32' trailers in the front parking area and double trailers in the side yard parking. Most of the sleds can be parked within eye sight of your cottage or cabin.
Snowmobile sleds and trailer storage is available during the week for those who require snow mobiling lodging on weekends only.
Snowmobiling Resort - Ontario Trails and Access
While
on your snow mobiling retreat at the Loralea you will have access to trail
#15 (HCSA) by road or across the lake.
- By road - there is a dead end road right out front of our main lodge that leads to the snowmobile trails.
- By lake - from resort grounds you hit the lake, cut across portion of lake and you will hit above road that leads to the snowmobiling trails.

From the Loralea you will hit (HCSA) #15 first which leads into the main trail "B"

There are several options for meals while on your snowmobile vacation at the Loralea.
- Dining In while on your snow mobiling retreat in Canada from the Loralea
- All cabins or cottages have what it takes to cook most meals
- All Rentals are housekeeping and have dishes, pot and pans etc
- All cabins have mini fridges and cottages have full fridge
- No ovens in cabins - BBQ's outside can be your oven
- Dining Out while on your snow mobiling retreats from the Loralea
- There are several Haliburton restaurants in the area
- Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner
- From 5 to 10 minutes away by car
- From 10 to 20 minutes by sled
- Restaurants/Bar - 20 minutes away

Canada Snowmobile Resort - Trail permits - Gasoline - Maps
While
snow mobiling at the Loralea and on the Haliburton trails make sure you
have a trail map and sled passes. It's best to get them before you get
here. There are some retailers up here that sell passes. Trail maps are
generated by the (HCSA) Haliburton County Snowmobile Club, apply through
the Haliburton Snowmobile
Club (trail permits) web site.
Gasoline is available on trails at one of the restaurants within a 15 minute sled ride from resort.
There are a few sled dealers in the area for parts etc.
Holidays Snowmobile Resort - Sled Rentals
There
are a few marina's in the local area that rent snow mobilies, ATV
etc for your sledding getaway.
There are two basic ways of renting snowmobiles

We are on Halls Lake which makes for great fishing for lake trout or small mouth bass, ice fishing and snow mobiling in the winter.
